Overview and history

From our early beginnings in 2000 with limited applications designed to increase data access, transparency, and reporting for small to medium sized millwork, kitchen and bath shops, we gradually expanded into material management, scheduling and estimating over the next 10 years.

Incorporated as SMARTMRP in 2012, our software has been steadily adding depth to its core group of functions as well as expanding into RFID for part management and numerous other shop automation applications Including robotics.

All of the extensive MRP functions have been developed, tested and refined in working manufacturing environments. With today’s manufacturing labour shortages, SMART has evolved into a vital management tool using its extensive data collection capabilities allowing the user to easily analyze productivity, employee performance, and production bottlenecks to make hiring and many other upper level management decisions.
